Situated on the Caelian Hill, the Arcus Dolabellae et Silani sits at the northern corner of the Castra Peregrina.

Pleiades

The consuls P. Cornelius Dolabella and C. Iulius Silanus erected the arch in AD 10 (CIL vi. 1384). Built of travertine, the arch may have been built to support a branch of the Aqua Marcia.
