Erek Dağ is a mountain in the Van Province in eastern Anatolia. It is the second-highest peak of the province of Van, rising to 3200 meters above sea level.

Atop this mountain, ca. 6-8 km north of the modern village of Doni (modern Gölardı) a partially preserved rock inscription in the Urartian language has been found. Unfortunately, only the beginning of the ruler's name is preserved (m.Ru-[...]), the filiation formula is completely destroyed. On the basis of a (paleographical) comparison to the stele of Keşiş Göl, Mirjo Salvini (2008: 628-629) suggested a date during the reign of Rusa, son of Erimena whose time of reign is still a matter of debate (for an overview see the eCUT Rusa, son of Erimena). However, it cannot be excluded that the inscription has been authored by Rusa, son of Argišti (first half of the seventh century BCE).
