Details:

This church / monastery, thought to date back to the late Norman period (G. Di Stefano, W. Krönig, Monumenti della Sicilia normanna, Palermo, 1979, pp. 18-19), contains an inscription from the ancient site of Apollonia in re-use in the wall (IG 14.359).
