History
Sororium Tigillum describes a wooden beam that stretched across a branch of the Sacra Via that climbed the Oppian Hill near the Compitum Acilii. The monument was flanked by altars of Iuno Sororia and Iuno Curiatius. It is an ancient monument about which there are many stories, the primary one being a link to the Horatii and Curiatii and Publius Horatius' slaying of his own sister.
